Art first.
Bags and scarves
as traces of the journey.

I create through a slow, hands-on process where color, texture, and curiosity lead the way. Each piece develops its own character rather than following a set plan.

I follow the thread wherever it leads. Most of the time, it becomes a bag or a scarf. Occasionally, it turns into a beautiful mistake. Those are kept safely out of sight and admired over tea.

Handmade pieces with an artistic soul

I crochet bags by hand and I paint silk scarves, one piece at a time. The bags grow stitch by stitch into their own quiet personalities, and the scarves are painted through the same curious, wandering process.

Some pieces turn out bold and colourful, others a little more gentle, but all of them are made to be used, worn, carried and softened slightly by life.

Most of the time the process results in something ready to meet the world. Sometimes it results in somethong that refuses to behave. Those ones are kindly excused from public duty.

Wearable art from a small studio in Sweden

Each bag and scarf begins as an experiment in color and texture, then settles into its final shape in its own time. They are made to be used, enjoyed, and lived with, not just admired. If one of them feels like a future friend, that is usually a good sign.

A dose of playfulness.

Heddan is a small, ongoing studio project where yarn, color, and silk are allowed to think for themselves. Sometimes the outcome becomes a bag. Sometimes a scarf. Always something with its own character. You don’t need to match the world. Let the world match you.
